The Q Company
17 Catoctin Circle SE
LeesBurg, VA 20175

So what’s The Q Company’s joint like?  Well, that’s a loaded question.  Let me see if I can paint a picture….

We have the best BBQ in the Mid Atlantic, The smoke rolls out of the smoker with a sweet smell of slow and low smoked Brisket, Pork, Ribs and Sausage.

Mitchell and Sara shoot straight, there’s no non-sense here, we only make BBQ, no salads, no chicken wings, not kids menu. But that doesn’t mean we don’t treat you right. We work very hard and do our best everyday, not a chain restaurant, this one you can talk straight to the Pitmaster any day of the week.

The restaurant should feel comfortable, it’s a BBQ joint, not starbucks or red lobster (not that we don’t appreciate both businesses) but, you won’t find a couch here.

We expect folks to get along in here, but we’re a little old school – we don’t put up with much smack talk. Either you like it or you don’t, we hope you do, we hope you tell your friends, we hope to cater every backyard, corporate, tradeshow get together you ever go to. But…if you don’t like our food, we’re not going to bend over backwards to make you like it. It is what it is and we put LOTS and time and care into every cook.

We look forward to your joining our family of BBQ lovers!

We slow smoke everything on a state of the art smoker from J&R out of the great state of Texas, where we know BBQ, everything’s fresh everyday, when it’s gone, it’s gone.

We are a family here, you are welcome here and we can’t wait to see you.

I’ll update the site with some great pictures, the restaurant menu and other details about the restaurant soon. In the meantime…

I watched your episode and LOVED it and was so so glad you won. Your food looked awesome and now that I know you are right down the street from me, I will be there to try your yummy food. I just wanted to make sure this restaurant was kid friendly? Take care and I cant wait to visit your restaurant.

mitchellm - April 24, 2011 - 6:05 pm

Hi Kelli! Thanks for the nice note, we had fun doing the show! We’d love to see you at the Saloon sometime very soon. And I appreciate your asking about kids, this spot is not kid friendly, it is an adults only crowd. Truly a roadhouse BBQ joint. We have a young daughter so I get it, but this place is really set up to allow adults to get away, enjoy some time with friends and it’s just not the atmosphere that works with little ones. Our place can be rented for private events and parties, and of course there wouldn’t be those restrictions in that case. And when we do fundraisers or community events there may be some exceptions then as well. So get a sitter, grab a friend, a date or a neighbor and come on over! Or of course there’s always take-out ;-) Thanks again!

Just picked up lunch today, and it was delicious. Got the brisket sandwich, a pork sandwich, mac & cheese and baked beans. The meat was so tender and delicious. Everything was great. I’m spreading the word for sure! And, Yes, I will come back! Thanks!

I just read the article in the Martinsburg Journal about your BBQ! I love good BBQ and am so glad to know that you are cranking out good food. I do have a concern however and my concern is that I am very allergic to cigarette/cigar smoke and since your establishment is connected to the Dirty Dawg Saloon, what is the air quality in your cafe? I get really sick from inhaling any sort of tobacco smoke so I am worried that if I visit your cafe for a meal I’ll end up with bronchitis and asthma. Help. What should I expect?

mitchellm - July 31, 2011 - 3:30 pm

Hi Cheryl, sorry for the delay in getting back to you – I missed your comment for some reason. Well, our business is outside so with that the air quality is as good as we can manage it. However smoking is allowed so there may be a concern. And of course we smoke all our BBQ, so the smoker is there as well. I wouldn’t think that either of these things would prove a problem, but I’m sensitive to the fact that it very well may. Why don’t you come by on a Friday or Saturday afternoon mid-day and check it out. It’s slow during that time and you can get a sense of the surroundings.

Thanks for the note and we’ll look forward to seeing your soon!

Hi! I am looking for potential caterers for our office retreat on October 12th…no luck far! I an unable to get to caterinf portion of your website, but I assume that you do onsite catering? I also need to know if you would: A) Be available on 10/12, B) Can cook onsite at Cacapon State Park in Berkeley Springs, WV, and C) Provide with a menu and an estimated cost per person for approximately 35 people? Thank you!

mitchellm - September 7, 2012 - 2:04 pm

Good morning, thanks for reaching out. I understand how hard it can be to find a caterer. We do offer this service. However you mention cooking on site, although we can do that, its not cost effective for such a small group. We are a traditional Texas BBQ company, our menu consists of Beef Brisket, pulled pork, beef or pork ribs, and sausage, with traditional sides, potato salad, coleslaw, beans, Mac & cheese, cornbread.

Delivery and service is available.

Please let me know if that is of interest, what menu items your considering and I’ll provide a price quote.

Thank you!

You open TODAY!? That means no time to update website, it seems. Lunch tomorrow is in the plans; you’re just 1/2 hour from our office.

mitchellm - September 12, 2012 - 2:38 am

Hi Kevin, kind of covert first week. Although you’re right, I haven’t had time to update the website! I’ll put it on the list for this week!

Hope to see you soon!

newsletter subscription still shows Martinsburg address! I’ll head for Leesburg, though. :)

mitchellm - October 9, 2012 - 11:40 pm

Carol, I’m sorry about that, I had posted the wrong menu! We decided to go with a specialty cut and that effected the cost and therefore price. I trust that you enjoyed the beef ribs? Thank you very much for your stopping by! Sara 540-450-6710
